Want List

This is the home page.

I've deleted my old trading site because I wanted to restart anew from scratch.

With my burner down, I'm taking a break from cataloging my CD-Rs and instead I'm putting the priority on organizing my DAT recordings.

Sorry, I don't grade my recordings.  If they sound good, I keep them.  If they don't, I toss them.

NEWS: My burner is in need of repair or replacement.  All burning is done on some else's computer until I get back on my feet.

I use a Pioneer PDR-509 stand-alone hooked up to a Sony STR-DE435 CD player via an optical cable.  It has two problems.  I can only use audio discs and the discs I burn are tagged with SCMS.

Transfers from my Sony TCD-D8 masters are done using an American-Digital 7-pin to coaxial in/out cable into that same Pioneer PDR-509.

I found that American-Digital cable to be too fragile for field recordings so it stays home.

All the discs on this site are SCMS-free so I can make digital copies of them (I had friends make SCMS-free copies for me).  I just can't make digital copies of something I made a copy of without having that SCMS removed.  It's very irritating.

With bands that get their own page, I will put some of the projects there that members of that particular band worked on as well.

I am presently zealously researching all my recordings (I have LOADS more) to double-check all the info I have about them.  If you see any mistakes, feel free to let me know.
It seems that I now have access to computers that can copy CD-Rs.  I'm so new at that though that I don't feel confident in making any promises on discs burnt that way.
If you want to see my old site before I tear it down, it's at:
I seem to have misplaced some of the recordings on that list (i.e. Johnny A 11/30/2002) though.
